1, Trip record 2, What I made for art interest 3, A trip by the beach 4, Installation work This is a tiny film book I have made. A simple animation practice to help understand how animation works. The duck is my final character design, his name is Kale. The purple ball is the magic ball, which is a great precious in their world. The 3rd and 4th pictures are just some environment design for the characters. In the big building, there are 3 ducks looking at the magic ball, the one with black top is Kale, and the one in the middle is his friend Josh; the one in green top is Rick. Running KaleThese were made in year 1 semester 2 with the Interactive Design class. These images above showed the product designed for the video we made in class with group. In this class we first made our own story board and a script, discussed in group and choose one final idea to shoot. After one day filming we started to edit the elements we've got. After the editing we designed a front cover and the cv, then burned it with a DVD. This paper also comes with a lot of paper works, including filming cover sheet, Model release, health and safety instructions, and the usual paper works that comes with every paper through studying. With Interactive Design class, we also did made many weekly projects: GIF pictures, animated character (I made a moving cat and a little packman), animated buttons, we designed an iphone app, and we looked at some interactive webpages.
In part 2, me and a few others classmates set up a group, then we really went up with a proposal to find and talk to the client where He Matariki school for teen parent at Raumanga, Whangarei. First of everything, research. Above are my research board for getting know more about my client. So we first had a color board (the first one is the one for group, then the second page is just a small personal project that goes by with the group work, the same as below for the logo designs), a flow chart that shows how the website works. Which button goes to where... Afterward we started to build up web mockups. We made 2 different looks to put in the proposal, the our client can have choices and tell us which one they prefer to go with. These all shows in the proposal but in a word document format, unfortunatly I can't present them in my blog. But below are the screenshots of how the website eventially look we made for our client. For project 1 we just did some small exercise, we had a play around designing part with Adobe Photoshop using 1 theme- Maori New Year Matariki. Then, with the class and tutor Jade, we were discovering to build some simple webpages with Adobe Dreamweaver. This was the hardest part to me because, it enrolves too many codes that need to be remember and keeping in mind. We also did some other codings with Dreamweaver that can be actual open as an off-lined websie. Sadly, it has been saved in a format that I can't present on my blog. This is another small project I did with this paper, a web designed for a coffee shop. Back then I didn't even realize that using Adobe Illustrator is an easier way to design a website. Just a quick thought, but who knows what will I find silly about myself in the future?!
